Where is the Pub?

On the main road, 10, Wharfage, running through Ironbridge facing the river, about 300yds from the Bridge.
To find Ironbridge head first to Telford on the M54 (Junct 10a M6).
Leave the M54 at junction 6 off the M54 and turn left following signs to Ironbridge & Coalbrookdale

When you reach the bottom of the hill in Ironbridge turn left and the The White Hart is 600 yds down on the left just before the iron bridge .

When is food served?
Lunch - 12.00 to 2.30pm Monday – Friday, Saturday 12 – 3pm, Sunday 12 – 7pm
Dinner 6.30 – 9.30pm
Winter Exceptions: Closed Monday Lunch. Sunday’s open 12.00 – 5pm
Where can I park?
The White Hart does not have a car park. There is parking on the road in designated areas, or across the bridge in the main car park. To access this car park follow the river road, cross over the newer bridge & follow the signs. You can then walk across the iron bridge onto the main street. Parking is free in Ironbridge in the evenings.
How about access and special needs?

The building is old and has proved hard to completely adapt. However there is a flat clear entrance into the bar and first eating area. There is one step down into the main bar to further eating areas. (A Ramp Is Available on Request) There is a fully accessible disabled toilet facility just off the bar area.

We naturally welcome everybody to the pub and will go out of our way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. If you have any special needs please ask & we will accommodate where possible.

We have high chairs, colouring pads, and a generally welcoming easy going approach.

We welcome families eating out with their children.


What is there to see in the area?

We have four en-suite double rooms at present, increasing to five in the near future. Our average room price is £60 depending on day of the week & availability & includes breakfast. Please ring for our best price. (Take a look on our “Events” page for an instant 10% room discount)

Available on request for an extra charge of £5 per head
Do you cater for vegetarians and other food intolerance?
Yes of course. There are always vegetarian options on the menu, and in addition we can adapt most dishes to cater for varying avoidances – commonly today wheat and diary. Let us know on the day and we will adapt accordingly – or if you are really concerned ring and ask to speak to the chef or manager before your visit.
